Do you ever have a week that kicks your butt? That was this week for me. This recipe appeared on another website, where I talked about a vegan cleanse that I did, and how that inspired me to create this smoothie. To put it nicely – people hated it. They hated the idea of a cleanse, that it was vegan, that I’m a flexitarian, and that I called this a detox smoothie. So I took a week to lick my wounds and then decided to post this anyway.
I really do drink this every morning – and have been drinking some variation of it for months now. And I can honestly say I feel much less sluggish in the mornings now, and especially after I run it provides additional hydration. And oh – most importantly – it’s delicious!
