I’m in the middle of a serious smoothie addiction, and I might need some help! You see, I’m at the tail end of my wedding “diet”, (you know, the one where I never actually lost any weight for my wedding day), and the one healthy thing I have consistently done for myself: This smoothie! But before we get to far into that I will say – I have finally really started trying to get into shape! I’m going to the gym (five times a week!) and I have to say, it’s a lot more effective that running – or at least how I was running! Plus I’ve started turning these smoothies into post workout / fuel and recovery, by adding some protein powder.
And I think it’s working! This weekend was my bridal shower (more on that tomorrow!) and I think I looked pretty good, don’t you think? It’s hard work – but the easiest part really is this smoothie. It’s like a delicious chocolate breakfast treat. And when you are working out, and working hard, you deserve a treat and chocolate – so why not combine them both! And it’s so easy to make. Oh did I mention – just 6 ingredients? Seriously simple, and fast that there is no reason not to have a healthy breakfast. (Except for cleaning the blender – I hate that part!)
